I just picked this rifle up the other day and took it to the range. I was shooting 147gr PMC bronze. I was benchrest shooting. I don't know if this matters but I was shooting off of a Harris Bipod. I have been shooting rifles for a few years now so I'm  not recoil sensitive or anything. The glass I was using is a Nikon Monarch 4-16x42. The problem I'm having is group size. I couldn't get the rifle to shoot any tighter then three inch groups give or take. I would get the cross hairs dead center and slowly pull the trigger till it broke. Some would be point of aim point of impact. Some where like what the f*#@!!!! I don't get it. Do you guys have any suggestions? I've owned rifles that cost a quarter of what this one cost and would shoot a lot better.

I would try some match grade ammo, like Federal 168gr match, 175gr match, or similar.  The 147's are considered "plinking" ammo and the groups you were getting with them are somewhat normal.
