June match scores are in! Looks like it was a great match. Here is the match report from our MD Mr. Augustis: Everything went OK Sat. It cooled off from Friday but the wind conditions were difficult, topping out at about 10 MPH but making 180 degree changes at times! Special Mention:
My special guest 13 years old Logan Porter visiting us from Arizona made a CONFIRMED second round hit on the 1055 yard buff shooting my .308. We sacrificed a sighter shot to determine POI corrections shooting these tough conditions on this course, and then used a quick hold off correction because the conditions were changing to rapidly for sight adjustments.
Not to take anything away from anyone, but this was my proudest moment of the day watching this young man catch the long range bug by "getting him some" making his first shot ever over 1000 yards!! Logan was one of only 3 people to accomplish a confirmed hit at over 1000k.
